YOUNG LEADERS 2024: BACK TO THE FUTURE
Under the South China Sea Conference organized by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, the Young Leaders Program 2024 took place from October 23-24, 2024, in Ha Long City.
In 2024, the program provided an opportunity for eight young researchers selected from nearly 500 applications across 19 countries to participate and contribute to the 16th South China Sea Conference. Throughout the conference, the young leaders actively engaged by asking questions to the speakers during discussion sessions. Notably, the young leaders had a dedicated presentation session and participated in a discussion afterward on relevant issues. Their initiatives and ideas were highly valued by scholars and attendees, who regarded them as innovative, profound, and highly relevant for both research and application in the region.
